Part Two: The Red Planet and the White House
Mars in the Presidency of George W. Bush
by Jim Shawvan

On December 21, 2000, I wrote the following three paragraphs in a short contribution to an article on StarIQ.com. The astrolocality map illustrates the point I’m making (see map here) Those statements were also based on transiting (T) Neptune making four passes over a quincunx to Dubya’s natal Mars and T Saturn making three passes over a square to natal Mars as well.

"During Dubya’s term in office, there may well be military action along his Mars—Midheaven line, in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

"We are all aware of the ongoing human rights violations by the Taliban in Afghanistan and their continued protection of terrorist chief Osama Bin Laden. We tend to be less familiar with the dangers to Western interests in Pakistan, a Muslim nation with a military government, nuclear weapons, strong fundamentalist movements, internal sectarian and ethnic conflict, huge numbers of Afghan refugees, and lots of guns. For some years now, the Pakistani port and metropolis of Karachi has been unsafe for Westerners, as well as for its own residents.

"During Dubya’s term in office, he may judge it necessary to threaten or even use force in either Afghanistan or Pakistan or both, in response to anti-American violence. Given the transits of Saturn and Neptune to Dubya’s Mars, I would expect these countries to become a focus of his attention no later than the last week of June, 2001, then again starting in mid December, and on into the following year."

Readers may also be interested to know that, besides astrolocality Mars, Dubya also has a geodetic Mars line passing through Afghanistan and Pakistan. (Geodetics figuratively wraps the zodiac around the globe and assigns corresponding astrological signs – and their qualities – to Earth locations.)

Someone may wonder why I am not speculating on Dubya’s Mars—Descendant line, which passes through Canberra, the capital of Australia. I think that, in the real world, we are likely to be on the same side as Australia in any armed conflict but on the opposite side from the Taliban and Osama Bin Laden.
